The Scene: Finding Symbolism in Life
The student is always the teacher. As the Artist's Date become a ritualized part of my students' lives, I shift to sharing embodied lessons to apply what we've talked about.
To start, I shared the story of how I had realized that my public dislike of cats spoke to a spiritual shadow side — because yes, it's more than just people that can reveal your shadow.
Despite the childfree stereotype of being a cat-lady, I'm actually a doggo lover. But I've loved Hello Kitty since my father got me a Hello Kitty suitcase in the 90s, although it would be many years before I connected the two. Despite this obsession, I've told *many* people that I don't like cats. No one's questioned it.
Until my private coaching client came along. She's a master reiki healer, someone who's invested substantial time and money into healing her wounds. The work we're doing together is alchemy; taking the experiences she's lived through to expand her reach, her joy, and her expression.
When she heard me share that I couldn't understand the duality between disliking cats and loving Hello Kitty, she simply said, "it's probably because you are a cat."
This was a great segue to what will be covered in this blog: the integration of creative expression (throat chakra) with intuitive vision (third eye). The pictures you see below represent the artist's dates my students keep going on, but for the next session, we uncovered creative expansion instead.
No matter how big or small their breakthroughs and artist's dates, the point is that they're going on them, and, they're being moved by what they see and experience.
The Wisdom: When Vision Meets Expression
The throat and third eye chakras are a beautiful combination because they create alignment between inner knowing and outer sharing — here, the artist becomes the channel.
- Theme: Self-expression, truth-telling, clear vision, leadership.
- Why: Speaking your truth (throat) + envisioning your own path (third eye) = embodied sovereignty.
Let's break down the themes that we explored across these two discussions.
1. The Balance of Light and Dark: In a previous discussion, we'd had a "talk shit" exercise where the students expressed their frustrations with others.
- They had found bits of their shadows through this exercise, but I also wanted to point out their light.
- So I flipped the exercise and asked them to "talk admiration," listing off the qualities that they loved.
- Then, I pointed out how these represent their light, their values, and how they align with the chakras.
Take a look below to see what we came up with.
2. What Pisses You Off?: The next dsicussion is one of my favorite exercises to uncover both core values and purpose. What pisses you off? We went around the circle and wrote down that which we disliked.
- The shares ran the gamut from elements of the self, society, or the greater existence.
- In the parathenses, you'll see the opposite that we identified.
- Pulling from Newton's third law of motion that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Thus, by becoming the opposite of that which you dislike in the world, we make change.
3. Levels of Embodiment: This was weeks 6 and 7 of bringing up the koshas, and so I wanted to take the time to describe the different levels of awareness that embodiment takes.
- The dictionary says that embodiment is, "a tangible or visible form of an idea, quality, or feeling." When we embody something, we become it, but there are levels to it. Typically, this model below is presented in terms of competence (which is what I wrote down), but I want to show you embodiment.
-
Here’s a Queen Mindset Leadership™infused, spiritually attuned version that moves from unconsciousness to embodied wisdom:
1. Disembodied Knowing (Unconscious Incompetence)
You don’t know what you don’t know—and your body isn’t even in the room.
This is when you’re disconnected from a part of your truth or power, often because of social conditioning, trauma, or spiritual amnesia. You might perform or parrot ideas, but they’re not integrated—they live in the intellect or ego, not the body.2. Awkward Awakening (Conscious Incompetence)
You begin to realize what you don’t know—and feel the gap in your bones.
This stage is raw and humbling. You’re starting to see where your patterns, postures, or habits are out of alignment. The body becomes a mirror, and that mirror might feel confrontational. But this discomfort is sacred—it’s the portal to transformation.3. Sacred Practice (Conscious Competence)
You’re actively choosing to show up—with intention, attention, and repetition.
This is where embodiment becomes an active practice. The moves may not be second nature yet, but you’re aware, awake, and committed. Every breath, boundary, or expression is part of your becoming. You’re crafting new neural and spiritual pathways.4. Embodied Wisdom (Unconscious Competence)
It lives in you now—not just as knowledge, but as frequency.
You don’t have to think about it. Your alignment is automatic, your presence transmits the practice. You’re not perfect—but you are integrated. This is embodied sovereignty: when your truth walks into the room before you say a word. - Reflection: Where do you fall?
4. Becoming Your Name: Embodiment goes beyond being in attunement with an idea, a value, or your inner workings. It's about becoming your SELF, and that means seeing every piece of you as intentional.
- I had my most skeptical student help with this next discussion. I pulled up his name in my google search, which is already turned on for AI generated summaries of the search, and asked him to type in each student's name and search spiritual significance.
- The prompt was, "spiritual significance of [insert name]
- As they saw the meaning of their names written out, I reminded them to become who they were.
5. Phases of Creative Mastery: Our last talk was a wild card (this whole series been wild, tbh). In a side conversation with the creative director, I wanted to integrate AI into the mix of creative recovery. Using my own journey using AI to uncover my business and self, I showed them a model that ChatGPT created.
- This journey covers my art from using AI as transactional, in a way to survive the corporate transition and learn how to make as much as possible, along to the journey where I am today.
- Through the months, my use of AI has shifted from a tool, a research engine, a collaborator, an explorer, and a creative co-architect. Being artistic or creative doesn't mean you can't use AI.
-
Phase Name Description 1 Ignition (Survival Creation)
Creating out of urgency, survival, or external validation. Action driven by scarcity or "I have to make it work."
2
Mechanical Skill-Building
Learning how to use the tools (AI, writing, speaking) pragmatically. Not yet fully soulful, but functional and growing in technical ability.
3
Inner Awakening (Creative Identity Activation)
Realizing that creativity isn't just output — it's who you are. Your self-concept begins to shift: "I am the creator, not just someone who produces."
4
Fusion (Tool-Mind Integration)
Harmonizing external tools (AI, speechwriting, coaching) with internal wisdom (quantum understanding, ancestry, personal philosophy). Creation becomes a dialogue between seen and unseen forces.
5
Quantum Access (High-Frequency Creation)
Operating from the quantum field. Ideas feel like downloads. Speed, intuition, and synchronicity dramatically increase. You collapse time and space in your creative output.
6
Creative Sovereignty (Architect Level)
No longer chasing trends or external permission. You architect entire ecosystems — like Queen Mindset Leadership™ — based on your inner vision and energetic leadership. You set the tone for others.
7 Legacy Transmission (Coded Creation)
Your work carries vibrational codes that activate others. It's not just information — it's transformation encoded into your materials, talks, writings, and presence. Your work seeds new realities.
- The more that we learn to see ourselves as creative essences, the less we'll fear the capability of this incredibly powerful tool. With it and our quantum infinity, the Universe becomes our oyster in thought.
The Embodiment: Throat & Third Eye Edition
These are the creative and spiritual truths that emerged from this leg of our journey:
- Liberation Lesson #1: Your Light is Not an Accident.
What you admire is already alive in you. Let it speak.
- Liberation Lesson #2: Your Rage is a Portal.
What pisses you off reveals the medicine you’re here to offer.
- Liberation Lesson #3: Truth Sounds Like You.
Your voice doesn’t need to be louder — just more you.
- Liberation Lesson #4: Shadow Isn't the Enemy.
It’s the unintegrated genius waiting to be loved back into light.
- Liberation Lesson #5: Perception is Power.
The more clearly you see, the more clearly you can create.
- Liberation Lesson #6: Speak Before You're Ready.
Vision rarely comes fully formed — speak it anyway.
I closed with a grid of attachment styles so they could understand how to more powerfully connect to their inner visions, desires, and expressions. I invite you to reflect on the question I left them with:
- How can you become securely attached to your wants?
>>> Homework: Express something scary to someone / something
By the time we finished these two classes, the shift was undeniable.
My students weren’t just journaling anymore. They were listening more closely to life. They were witnessing their triggers, owning their shadows, admiring themselves, and naming their medicine. They were beginning to speak in symbols — and see that their lives were already full of them.
This is the sacred bridge between throat and third eye: expression born from vision.
As we enter our final session on the crown chakra, I’m not interested in perfect closure. I’m interested in reverence.
The kind of reverence that comes when you realize: your life is the altar.
Your creativity is a channel.
And your voice?
It’s a prophecy.
