Rooted in ancestral wisdom, creative embodiment, and cosmic consciousness. 

My work sits at the intersection of decolonial research, liberation psychology, and creative practice — rooted in Afro-Indigenous feminist wisdom and the embodied knowing of ancestral healing.

I call it Queen Mindset Leadership®. It's the intellectual and creative flagship of Dr. García Brands: Creative Liberation Leadership Studio — built for people who have spent a lifetime achieving and are ready to remember who they are beneath the achievement.

As a scholar-artist, I bring both the rigor of a researcher and the aliveness of a practicing creative to everything I facilitate. I am a pianist, painter, poet, and writer — not as accessories to my work, but as the living proof of it.

I work with people burnt from achieving. People ready to stop living on autopilot and reclaim their creativity, their sovereignty, and their whole selves.

To walk this path is to remember what the colonial world spent centuries trying to make you forget — that your body knows things your credentials never taught you. That creativity is not a hobby. That expression is the opposite of oppression.

That sovereignty is not something you earn. It is something you reclaim.

This work is rooted in Afro-Indigenous feminist wisdom — not as a framework borrowed from a syllabus, but as a living practice embodied through ancestral healing, decolonial research, and the radical act of making art while the world tells you to be productive.

We interrogate the systems — external and internal — that shaped how you lead, work, and live. We use creativity as the vehicle for transformation. We integrate all of who you are so you can author your next chapter deliberately.

In slow, sovereign, creative living — we shed what was never ours to carry.

We remember what the body always knew.

We rise, not despite the grief, but through it — glowing, rooted, and finally, fully free.

I built Queen Mindset Leadership® from the ashes of my own becoming — a decade inside Fortune 500 boardrooms, studying how systems shape human beings.

I left. Not because I had it figured out. But because I wanted to get to the root.

What followed was the real education. The underground. The creative reclamation. The return to ancestral land and the self I had been emigrating from my whole life.

I became a painter, a pianist, a poet — not to be interesting, but because I had to live the proof that expression is the opposite of oppression.

I am a Dominican-American scholar-artist and decolonial researcher.

I study how systems disrupt human wellness — and I build the containers where people come home to themselves anyway.

This work is not theory. It is lived.

HOLA, I'M DRA. CAROLLAINE!

Que lo que, mi gente. I’m CarolLaine, but I go by Doctora García.

I was raised between worlds, where language, lineage, and legacy danced inside me before I had words to name them. I learned early that expression and reclaiming it is liberation.

After years of doing “everything right” and still feeling like something was missing, I realized I wasn’t just meant to fit into domination systems—I was meant to create new ones.

That’s how the Creative Liberation Leadership Studio was born: as a space to build what I couldn’t find, rooted in truth, intuition, and ancestral power.

Dr. García Brands is a sacred studio for creative embodiment and sovereign leadership. Where intuition meets business strategy, and the mystical meets the intellectual.

Rooted in my own journey of decolonization, identity reclamation, and ancestral healing, this work was born from years of therapy, doctoral study, and spiritual reconnection to the ancestors.

I believe leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about embodiment.

I facilitate keynote speeches, creative embodiment sessions, and retreats in Dallas and the Dominican Republic. My work is open to all humans questioning systems of oppression.
